Construction of the the concrete foundation is complete, including backfilling and landscaping. Delivery of the cranes and turbine components, and subsequent erection of the wind turbine, are scheduled to take place this coming week (commencing 13/10). Checks have been successfully carried out on crane and delivery vehicle road access, and the load bearing capacity of the crane pad and access track. Arrangements are in place for removing road signs and gate posts. The grid connection is progressing towards completion: the SSE switchgear is now on site, and the 11kV grid cable is currently being laid, with connection date scheduled for 31/10.
