As outlined in the Share Prospectus, each year any surplus from Islay Community Energy Benefit Society projects is transferred to a Community Benefit Fund, held and administered by the Islay Energy Trust (IET). Although the allocation of funds for community benefit is the responsibility of IET, its Board will take account of recommendations made by an independently appointed Grant Advisory Panel (GAP).
